This Oribe sake bottle is created by adding 5% copper to transparent glaze containing feldspar, straw ashes and wood ashes as the base materials. The white surface has a traditional yet original and celebratory design, known as Hare ware, using iron brushwork called Tetsue. After wheel throwing a thick layer on a pottery wheel, the surface is chamfered to create this powerful look. You can only use as a flower vase.
