This green Oribe ware is created by adding 5% copper to transparent glaze containing feldspar, straw ashes and wood ashes as the base materials. The white surface has a traditional yet original and celebratory design, known as Hare ware, using iron brushwork called Tetsue. This traditional sized ware has been made since the Momoyama period and it's shaped like a plum flower to create a charming yet stylish appearance. Perfect for both Japanese and European dishes. Serve it with small appetizers or dessert.
