This matcha tea bowl is created by Tetsuo Ogawa, the pottery artist based in Japan. You can also use it as a Japanese teacup known as Yunomi to enjoy various kinds of tea such as green tea.
Oribe ware is a traditional Japanese pottery that features dark green glaze as one of its characteristics. This beautiful appearance is also great for interior tearoom decorations.
We've handpicked the natural ingredients from Ena City, Gifu Prefecture. Enjoy this one-of-a-kind pottery since each piece is handmade by the artist.
The product may have a rough surface and bumps as it uses soil. Use a sand paper before use.

    • Microwave and dishwasher safe, no direct fire or oven

    This product absorbs water easily and may break from sudden changes in temperature. We suggest that you follow the instructions below to safely use our products. 

    Instructions:
    Pour water in a pot and soak the product completely. Boil the water and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Remove the product from the pot and cool it off.
    (Avoid sudden changes in temperature as it will cause the product to break)
    Do not leave strong colored or scented items inside the product for a long period of time. Odor and color may transfer to the product.
    Make sure to dry thoroughly as it can cause mold and odor if it's not completely dry.
