This traditional yet simple bowl is glazed with 50% feldspars and 50% wood ashes. The half cylindrical shape, known as Hantsutsu-gata, makes it easy to whisk matcha as it has straight sides and a flatter bottom. The bowl is deliberately fired for 5 days and is perfect for serving matcha or tea. The bowl comes with a spout to make it extra useful.
